Recent work
A branded set: a Varley half-zip and matching pant. We adapted the logo's fine serifs for embroidery and matched the thread to the fabric, then shipped the set to Florida.
Zip-up sweatshirts for the billing team, stitched on the client's own garments. We simplified the thin lines of their crest so the detail wouldn't sink into the fleece and matched the BILLING lettering to the STENO letterforms. The client picked dark green from three thread colors on a test stitch. Delivered two days early.
How we stitch on fleece

Dense fleece takes embroidery well.
The logo sits clean and flat.
- 02
Plush fleece and thin stretch need more support.
Where stitches would sink into the pile, or the fabric is thin and stretchy, we add a water-soluble topping and extra stabilizer so the logo stays on top.

Filled for the pile.
On fleece we fill the logo with a tatami stitch instead of satin, and simplify fine lines that would disappear in the nap.

Thread color
Tone-on-tone is possible, but we usually suggest a contrasting color so the logo reads from across the room.

Timing and shipping
Garments
They arrive from the supplier in about 5 business days, or 2 with expedited shipping.
Embroidery
After you approve the proof, it takes 5–7 business days. Plan on about 2–3 weeks.
Shipping
Anywhere in the US. A small box, such as samples, typically goes for $15–25 by USPS. Larger orders and shipping to each person's address are quoted with your order.

How much does a custom embroidered hoodie cost?
Embroidery is $15–25 per piece, lower at higher quantities, plus the hoodie itself, priced by brand. Logo digitizing is $30–50 once and is included on orders of 24+ pieces. We quote the complete set before production.
Where should the logo go on a zip hoodie?
On the left or right chest, beside the zipper, never across it.
Can you embroider thick fleece?
Yes. Dense fleece stitches very well. Plush fleece, where stitches sink into the pile, and thin stretch fabrics get a water-soluble topping and extra stabilizer so the logo stays crisp.
Do you do tone-on-tone embroidery?
Yes, if you want it. We usually suggest a contrasting thread so the logo is easy to read.

Can we bring our own hoodies?
